Acne Set

Having a super sensitive skin had made me tried numerous products to cure, if not, lessen my pimples. I am not afraid to try on anything. I stopped when i know its hurting my skin already and I continue if i find it helpful. I wasn't born with a good skin but during my high school or college days, i don't remember having much breakouts compare now. Before, pimples only came out whenever I feel stress or it's the time of the month. But now, pimples came out of nowhere, worse, they're cystic acne. I've had my monthly facial cleaning in some dermas at the mall but we know it's not enough so I did self-medications. I've tried the famous Dr. Alvin's rejuvenating set , bought facial soaps and wash with salicylic acid , pimple cream and anything I can think of. Some worsen my skin condition and some work for a while. So you see my unending saga in looking for right products for my skin goes on and on.

I joined this famous online forum before getting married last and it really help me a lot. After my wedding, i started browsing, reading and joining different topic threads and one of my favorite is about skincare. Through this, i was given the chance to try out this acne set from Dermcare. I started last Saturday and will update you soon!

That Clindamycin Solution and  Tretinoin are new to me so I can't wait to see the results!

Goodluck to me and my skin! Ciao!

Everyday I traverse Skyway - NAIA going to Makati and everytime I saw an airplane, I can feel from afar the excitement of those people travelling especially those going on a vacation. Too bad, i only start blogging early this year. I hope I can still recall the details of my trips in El Nido, Palawan, Boracay,Zambales and countless trips in Batangas..Time to dig up my files!

iWhite Korea BB Holic review

Despite working in the corporate world, I don't often put makeup on. And when I do, it's because I have client meetings. My skin is so sensitive that I often got breakouts for putting the wrong blush on or use the wrong facial wash, in a few minutes. I've been a member of this forum for a long time now and read a lot about korean cosmetics. So after a meeting which happened to be near a mall, I dropped by the drugstore to get some iWhite products I'm so curious of.
I've searched and found info below about BB creams
According to dermatologist Sung-Jae Jung, MD, founder of BB staple Dr. Jart+, beauty or blemish balm (BB) "moisturizes, protects, and corrects," consolidating your skin-perfecting products into just one thing. How does BB cream differ from foundation and tinted moisturizer? According to Jung, tinted moisturizer hydrates and evens out the complexion with minimal coverage and foundation covers the skin with a layer of pigment, but BB creams offer broad-spectrum SPF and antioxidants–and depending upon the formula you choose, other skin-improving ingredients." - from Elle website.
So since I'm not a fan of foundation, my curiosity rises upon learning the details above. I'm giving my honest review for this new product I found.
BB.HOLIC Everyday BB Cream is available in 2 shades, light and beige. I got them bought to check which one suits me well. My apologies for the tear I made with the sachet:)

iWhite Korea's BB Holic cream
The first thing I noticed was the smell of the liquid. It smells like a cotton candy. I find the product very easy to apply all over my face. I applied a minimal amount and immediately noticed the difference it does on my skin. It provides light coverage but satisfyingly well. An officemate who tried it on because I insists, seems satisfied too. Word suddenly got out that we are now 5 in the office who tried the product and all of us were satisfied. My office mate who has a problem with her black head was so satisfied as it lessen the visibility. It also gave us a fresher look and light complexion without going far beyond our natural skin tone. After 30 minutes, I also noticed how my skin absorb the BB cream well. It gives me a dewy glow look, which I like, maybe because I have oily skin. As for my office mates, it gave them powder-finish look while they kept on smiling on me whenever I look their way:)
Overall, I'm satisfied with the product. It only cost 24.50 and comes in 2 sachet. The sachet is good for travelling as it saves space on your bag. The light coverage it provides makes it suitable for everyday wearing . Once opened, you may need to transfer it to a small container to avoid the spill. Five people have tried it on and I still have enough, I think, for a week. I recommend this for newbies in makeup and looking for foundation-like light coverage but more affordable.

Thanks!

RG's wedding journey :Church Hunting

Hello there! sharing with you my wedding journey..
Rex and I have been together for more than 4 years already and since both of us are the bread winner in the family, every time marriage comes to our mind we always look and ask each other, kaya na ba natin? (are we ready?) And more often our answer is not yet. Last Dec 2014 we’ve been having these conversations about our “future together”, like buying a larger cabinet for our clothes, getting a bigger and comfortable bed and how much do we plan to spend for our wedding. So being the impatient one, puffin’ my chest I asked him, should I start planning our wedding na ba? Giving me his typical goofy grin he said yes! No, this is not my dream wedding proposal but what can I do? This is as good as it is! Knowing me well he immediately add, “I want you to come with me in buying your engagement ring since I don’t know what your ring size is”. I’m excited!
A challenge has been set by my h2b, plan our wedding with 150K budget. Whut?! Is that even possible in this time and age?? But me being me, I accepted the challenge “bahala na!” Actually long before he asked for us to get married, we’ve set our mind already to be practical when the right time comes so I’m not that totally surprise. In addition to that, we still have our future to prepare on. With that I’ve started joining different wedding forums just to get ideas on the recent rates of the suppliers.
Ceremony budget, 10K Good luck to me!

December is one of the busiest months for the Catholic churches and a lot of weddings happen during this month so we immediately booked the closest to our budget, Parish of the Holy Sacrifice aka UP Chapel the day we visited the church.
But..
A week after, my curiosity led me to ask for the rate of St. Peter Parish in Commonwealth(since its near Batasan). I was under the assumption that the fee is expensive because of the size of the church and its location. Regret rush over me when I learned that it’s the same with UP Chapel, what??! In addition to this, our preferred time schedule is available!
St. Peter Parish
Tel: +63 2 932.9581 / 951.5150 / 409.3948 / 952.4404
Address: Block 44, Lot 7 & 8 Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City
10,000(inclusions: mass, carpet, flowers)
1,000 (soloist & organist)300 (electricity for videographer)

We had to let go of our reservation at UP Chapel (and the fee!) and booked St. Peter Parish. We were asked to fill out the form and complete the requirements 3 months before the wedding date. As for our canonical interview and pre-cana, we just have to email them our preferred schedule.
One down!
